Cincy Chic Launches New “Wine Women on Wednesdays” at Dingle House

Local Publication brings inexpensive wine tasting event to unique West Chester venue

Jun 01, 2009 (GrapeVineTrail.com) – Wine tasting is a great way to spend time with friends, meet new people and return home with an education. But wine can be an expensive sport, as tuition at serious wine appreciation schools start at $800 and other classes begin at around $60. That’s why Cincy Chic (www.cincychic.com), the only online lifestyle publication for women in Greater Cincinnati, is launching a monthly “Wine Women on Wednesdays” wine tasting event.

The first event will be held at the Dingle House in West Chester on Wednesday, June 3, 2009 from 6-9p.m. The “Wine Women on Wednesdays” events offer attendees the ability to learn how to distinguish the diverse flavors in a wine and try wines that they may not have had the opportunity or budget to try otherwise.

“The West Chester-based Dingle House is an impressive Cincinnati venue,” says Cincy Chic event planner Lisa Ruberg. “The one-of-a-kind atmosphere of the Dingle House makes visitors feel as if they are truly in Ireland. In fact, the interior stone came directly from the shores of Ireland.”

“Fun and enriching opportunities like wine tastings aren’t top priority when budgets get tight,” says Cincy Chic Publisher Amy Storer- Scalia. “This event provides the best of both worlds: inexpensive and enriching.”

In addition to various wine tastings provided by the Dingle House, and shopping opportunities with LaCrema Coffee and Fancy Finds Jewelry - Krumme Chiropractic will be offering free 10-minute back massages to all attendees.

The tasting is $10.00 per person for 2 oz. of five different wines. The various wines are also available by the glass and bottle throughout the evening.
